About Anja

Anja Noor is the lead designer and founder of ANJATM.

Born in Germany, she discovered her passion for fashion at a very early age. She was surrounded by piles of fabric, cloth, beads & buttons and grew up in good company of needles and pins.

For Anja, there was never a question what to do - the only question was how to make her dream come true.

Anja studied fashion design at the University of Berlin, where she learned how to transform her passion into a profession.

During her 7 years of internship in fashion companies, she gained vast experience in all matters of style, design, pattern making, product development and product management.

Allah guides whom he wills and Anja converted in 1999 to Islam. Allahu Akbar

Seeking to follow in the Prophet’s footsteps, she quickly understood some of the issues experienced by Muslim woman in the Western world. Living in western countries, it is challenging to find appropriate clothing to identify onselft as Muslims. It is also hard to adapt traditional Islamic styles to environmental and cultural necessities of life in Western societies.

Inspired, Anja added a new Islamic dimension io her creative work, dedicating her time to the design and development of modest but stylish fashion for North American Muslims.

With dedicated professionals in customer service, sales and marketing, Anja contributes to the satisfaction and happiness of Muslim woman in the West desiring to follow the only true path in dignity and piety.
